Like we all know, last year was full of disruption due to COVID, but it has also proved to be of productivity time. Most of the hoteliers rather being panic utilised their downtime to analyse technology performance and operational efficiency. Those who were relying on older software versions or legacy systems invested their time to perform system wide upgrades, whilst others went on a search of new and innovative technologies that would get them better prepared for recovery.
For instance, great number of hotels migrated to Nimble Property accounting system last year, and many found AP automation, budgeting module helpful in navigating during the toughest times. It was a busy year for us, winding down the deployments and training. Surprisingly, most of the hoteliers are showing interest to conduct on-site training.
Hoteliers stand strong to lead by example, not being apprehensive to indulge in meetings so they can reassure people in terms of safe travel and stay. However, it all depends on how promptly the safety protocols are executed in place.
When asked, they said that they are not afraid meeting as groups, as perfect cleaning & safety protocols are ensured by wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and that’s how the belief and relationships are strengthened.
Glad that this is leading as a great example to show businesses that it is safe and viable to attend meetings, when safety and hygienic protocols are followed.
